With a beautiful dark crimson color, this wine is full of blueberry and blackberry compote aromas, with hints of mocha and char. The wine is unusually big in style for a Merlot, but has a silky mouthfeel and inviting black cherry fruit flavors. Unabashedly ripe, with lots of spice, this wine has a black tea and truffle finish. This is the ripest, richest Merlot we've made to date, and it is fabulous with lamb or marinated beef. Drink now or hold up to eight years.…….292 cases made.

From the magnificent 2002 vintage, this wine is made from lots selected Cabernet grapes. The color is rich ruby red. Aromas of cherries, currants, cedar and anise dominate the nose, along with a hint of clove. Medium to full-bodied, this wine displays abundant cherry and currant fruit on the palate and a velvety mouth feel. Supple and polished throughout, it finishes with firm tannins. As with previous vintages, this is an extremely drinkable Cabernet Sauvignon, yet will age well for 10-15 years.
